The Applied Exercise Science Health and Fitness Workshop is held annually on the first Friday in December. The goal of the workshop is to provide ready-to-implement ideas and practices to take right back to the classroom or professional arena in the areas of health, physical education, sports and athletics, fitness, and inclusive and adapted activity.

What is the cost of the workshop?
The cost of the workshop is $90, plus a $5 service fee.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Yes, any cancellations prior to November 20, 2026, will be charged a $10 fee. Cancellations on or after November 20, will NOT receive a refund.
Are SCECHs offered?
Yes, if you attend the entire workshop (8:00am - 11:50am)! You can obtain 4 SCECHs by attending the entire workshop, signing in (8:00am or earlier) and out (11:50am or later), completing and turning in the form and paying the fee. SCECHs are $10 if paid by cash/check, or $10.50 with PayPal.
Where do I park?
Parking is limited on campus, however, there are 2 public parking structures near to the School of Kinesiology building, the Liberty Square and Maynard Parking structures. Please visit the parking website for more details, Parking in Downtown Ann Arbor. The School of Kinesiology is located at 830 N. University St., directly across from Hill Auditorium. Most of the metered parking near our building has been removed, plan to park in a parking structure.
Will there be food?
Coffee, hot chocolate, and a light breakfast will be provided.
