We are pleased to invite you to register for the upcoming 65th Annual Carl E. Badgley Day Lectureship, taking place on September 11, 2026, at Weber's Inn in Ann Arbor, MI. This year’s program will center on the evaluation and management of lower extremity pathologies, offering valuable insights into these complex areas of orthopaedic care.

We are honored to welcome two distinguished keynote speakers:

  • Bruce Sangeorzan, M.D., is a Professor of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. He is a specialist at the Sigvard T. Hansen Jr. Foot and Ankle Institute, the Director of the VA Center Of Excellence in Limb Loss Prevention and Prosthetic Engineering, and professor in the University of Washington Department of Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine.
  • Matthew P. Abdel, M.D., serves as Chair of the Surgical and Procedural Committee at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he is leading a focused transformation in Rochester to elevate surgical and procedural quality, accelerate innovation and strengthen the integration of best practices across the campus. He is recognized with distinction as the Andrew A. and Mary S. Sugg Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and a Consultant in Adult Reconstruction within the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
