Our Firearm Safety Awareness webinar will consist of a 90 minute panel composed of members from the Michigan Firearm Law Implementation Program and Chief of Police for the Detroit Public Schools Community District, Michigan's only school-based police department. 

The panel's focus is to provide fathers, practitioners, and community leaders of fatherhood programs with relevant instruction and resources that will equip them to confidently address firearm safety in their programming. The webinar will include public health perspectives, law enforcement insight, safe storage recommendations, and resources. Access to handouts and relevant videos will be provided.

Participants will leave with strategies to integrate firearm safety instruction into their programs, simultaneously empowering fathers to protect their children and communities responsibly and safely.
